THEMES since 2018:
Identity and self-assertion, confidence issues, standing up for yourself, personal boundaries, and ending people-pleasing. We saw the narcissist/empath themes play out, and on a psychological level we learned about attachment types and how our childhood and past experiences created patterns in adult relationships. There was great healing in this area.
Leadership and innovation, social movements, and personal endeavours also became major themes. This connects to LGBTQ+ empowerment, which came front and centre during this period. No matter your personal opinion on the subject, you can’t deny that it was a strong collective theme.

Neptune in Aries
The last time Neptune was in Aries was April 13, 1861, to April 7, 1875.
Of note:
The American Civil War (April 12, 1861 – April 9, 1865) immigration issues, slavery, economic issues, “states’ rights.”
On April 12, 1861, at 4:30 a.m. in Charleston, SC, the Sun was in Aries, Uranus was in Gemini, and Jupiter was in Leo at 0 degrees. We will see the exact same transits in 2026. It was also the exact moment of the start of the Civil War.
34 hours later, Neptune ingressed into Aries.
After 4,000 rounds and significant damage, Major Robert Anderson agreed to surrender. Abraham Lincoln then issued a proclamation calling for 75,000 volunteers to suppress the rebellion, leading to four more Southern states seceding and joining the Confederacy.
The Confederacy collapsed in 1865, and the 13th Amendment was ratified to abolish slavery. The seceded states were gradually readmitted to the Union.

Combined with Neptune, there will be a push/pull between reality and idealism, new beginnings, new vision, and courage to pursue dreams. With Pluto now in Aquarius, it will take time to build new systems. You’ve got to put in the work. Pluto in Capricorn made it easier to start new things and see big results quickly. It won’t be like that anymore.
Healing through action, spiritual discipline, and connecting work with spirit. Being in alignment will bring karmic rewards.
There may be doubts and fear as this marks the beginning of the energy of sovereignty. No one is coming to save you. You must align with spirit and put in the work. In 2027 this begins the major shift into the individual. 2026 is the prep year. We will see major institutions and systems start to crumble, and we get the first taste of what it means to be responsible for our own lives. Pluto in Aquarius will bring new ways to work collectively. Smaller-focused communities will thrive as we see the end of the idea of a single “global community.”

When Uranus moves into Gemini it begins its sextile to Neptune in Aries and trine with Pluto in Aquarius. We see this grand trine as a very positive aspect.
Uranus in Gemini is fast-moving. Before April and specifically before the Neptune/Saturn conjunction at 0 degrees in February, use the energy of healing with the North Node in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer to let go of old patterns and habits that no longer serve. Once Uranus moves into Gemini, information becomes much faster. It will be important to distinguish between truth and falsehoods. AI vs. authenticity. Can you connect to your inner knowing?

Those born between 1976–1984 will experience their Chiron return. This is a once-in-a-lifetime transit.

This is the second biggest transit of the year and the most important eclipse. Building on themes from Jupiter and the South Node in Leo, it also has a conjunction with Mercury. How we express ourselves verbally reaches the highest octave.
A special consideration for those born with Pluto in Leo:
Aug 3, 1938 – Aug 18, 1957.
Those born 1951–1953 will feel this most intensely as Pluto in Leo will be exact conjunct the eclipse in their natal charts.
This generation didn’t have strong models of emotional maturity. Their parents (many focused on survival) stayed in marriages for financial security rather than love. It is imperative that this generation learn from younger generations when it comes to emotional boundaries and healthy relationship dynamics.
This eclipse will make it impossible for toxic silence or scapegoating patterns to continue. Expect big changes. Some baby boomers may have major conflicts with their children, potentially bypassing them in wills or instead bonding with Gen Z grandchildren as they confront regrets and realizations.
